About Me

I am a PhD Candidate in the Applied Ocean Sciences group at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UCSD. I study how large scale processes in the ocean impact what happens on island fore-reefs. My work aims to to tease out dynamics that regulate the nearshore environment and the ecosystems they house using an array of oceanographic instrumentation and numerical models. My work is done under the direction of Dr. Eric Terrill in the Coastal Observing Research and Development Center.
